This is a great spot for beginners. I wouldn't recommend it for bag fishing, as this is a nature reserve overall. There is a limit and a catch and release policy. However, it's very peaceful and there are 4 or 5 ponds of reasonable size to dip the rod in. No motor craft but you can belly board and there are two small docks if you're wanting to sit and fish. Sunfish, carp, perch, bass and lots of minnows. I'd recommend this for kids looking to learn the rod and anyone rusty looking to shore line.

Nature preserve with numerous ponds and good mountain views right within Loveland.city limits. Groomed walking trails circling the ponds and the likelihood of sighting a variety of birds This time of year: geese, ducks, owls, blackbirds and perhaps a Great Blue Heron. Easy access and plenty of parking with two parking lots. Also a popular fishing spot.

We love this place! Great place to walk, view wildlife, and relax, no matter the time of year nor the weather.

This is a lovely area for hiking, cycling, walking, and fishing.
Well, the fishing would have been better if the darned fish had been a little more cooperative. But we still spent a few enjoyable hours tossing lures, chatting with the locals, and just enjoying the lakes.

Wide open spaces, plenty of fishing spots to choose from. Some are catch and release among these ponds, some are not. Bring your bug spray, sit back and relax. Great walking trails, lots of tree coverage for the sunny days.

This overlooked gem is a great place for a calm walk or a day of fishing. There are several ponds to choose from, all of which have shaded areas to sit throughout the day. I love to come here and read because of how quiet and respectful others are. If you're looking for a place to have a picnic with the kids, please check out the park across the street.

Always a great place for a walk or run some places to explore or just sit and think. The fishing is a little pressured but they're in there.

Beautiful and stunning outdoor park with an almost unobstructed view to the rocky mountains. There are several ponds surrounded and connected with a network of well kept clean trails. Descriptive signs of wild life inhabitanting this area makes this a great place to learn, to watch birds, and go fishing.

I love this place! From catching fish to running, there is tons to do here. A bit muddy at times so be aware of that. I have caught sunfish, trout and small bass here. Great place to bring the kids . Make sure you check out each pond.

On a good day, swallows, hawks, pelicans, cranes, geese and ducks will grace your presence as you walk along the several paths that surround the small lakes. A lot of fishing spots that are secluded. An excellent place to jog or take long walks while enjoying nature.

Great ponds for a day out fishing without leaving town.

This is a beautiful place to walk, fish, or picnic. The walking paths are well maintained and there is lots of nature to enjoy. The fishing here is pretty good. We usually end up catching something when we come here. I was so happy that they added this in town. It really is a nice place to spend an afternoon.
